Lovely that your S-in-Law called the vet out to him instead of him being traipsed to the vet and that he died in his own familiar home that he loved. Sounds as if he's had a good life and been loved which is all they ask for and so so many don't get. RIP Magic.
So very to sad to hear this Jubieanna, bless him and RIP. He obviously had very caring owners and a wonderful life so a big hug from me and my dog Douggie (also asleep next to me) for you and heartfelt sympathy for your SIL. Always an awful decision to have to make, but obviously the best decision given the circumstances xx
I had to have my 12 year old German Shepherd dog put to sleep at the beginning of March. I was devastated. What helped me, was to sit down with a pencil and notebook and write down all my random thoughts, feeling and memories. It was a miserable, tearful afternoon but it did help in a strange sort of way.
Oh no what a shock.!! I was thinking he was doing well. I am so truly sorry. Poor Magic he did put up a fight didnt he.? Bless him.. I am getting worried more by the day with my dear boy, Ben. He has had trouble with his back legs for a while now but giving him his tablets he has been doing well. Until a couple of days ago. Even though he has had his tablets he is having more and more trouble getting up when he is laid down. Oh dear just hope it is the warm weather. Anyway love to you and your pug. Brenda x
