This is my parrot Dave doing his R2-D2 and Chewbacca impressions.

He starts off saying his cross between 'hi five' and 'bye bye' he says both but gets a little mixed up at times... bless. He has little plush toys of the Star Wars characters that he got for Christmas after my son taught him how to do the noises watching Youtube :0/

Amazons can live up to 75 years Wolf, Dave will be three on the 15th of this month. Before we took him on I had a long chat with the kids about the fact that he will more than likely outlive me and my daughter is happy to take him. He also has 'god parents' as do all my animals in case of a worse case scenario.

He's not always talking and spends a lot of time out in his aviary... I love him to bits.

I just had a vision of Dave singing "always look on the bright side of life" He will have no problem with the whistling.

He seems like a happy and content bird.
