Animal (invertabrate)...similar to a coral or anemone.....i have loads in my coral reef aquarium.

Currently, sponges are classified in the Kindgom Animalia, but they are in a separate subkingdom from the rest of all of the animals you know (including corals and anemones). We are Eumetazoans, whilst sponges are parazoans. They are unlike true animals in that they do not have true tissues or systems.
