Yipee - I've been adopted by a hedgehog again.

I had a regular one who decided to move in to the hedgehog house but he died going to his bed last year!

So I was not sure if any of the others would show this year.

Last nights visitor is back tonight - assuming its the same one.

They are useful visitors, he will eat creepy crawlies in your garden. Maybe he will bring his wife and family soon.

No chance of hedgehogs here, sadly. Too many badgers and foxes :(

Badgers are adept at killing and eating hedgehogs. Foxes find it tricky but they can and will do it.
And of course badgers eat the same food as hedgehogs, but a lot more of it so hedgehogs move away.
I'm sad about it as I'd much rather have the gardeners' friend, the hedgehog, than badgers and foxes

lovely little animals, I've had a hedgehog home under my hedge for about 5 years but so far, no takers.
