Robins
7 Answers
Will a Robin desert its nest (and presumably eggs it is sitting on) if disturbed? The robin's nest in my shed has a bird sitting in it and yesterday when I opened the door (which I have to roughly every 3rd day) she never moved but sat up and looked at me.

Thank you Buenchico, that was a lovely story. My shed window is constanly open so no problem about entry and air, they are in the dry and out of the wind ! but I wonder what will happen as I cannot help but open door regularly. The nest is right at the back and up just about as high as they could make it so cannot see inside the nest or even the bird unless she sits up! I do not have to go inside the shed I just use area to hand by the door. It is not a large shed though 6' x 6.6" approx.
