My cat Amber had a large scab on her back a while back...I didn't think too much of it as I thought she'd been beaten up by my other, much larger cat. I thought it had gone away...then discovered an open wound where I thought it had been. Started trying to clean it every day..,would see improvement. Then it would appear worse. Now I've discovered a few other, similar sores on her. The sores, not surprisingly, are smelly. She's off her food, yet purring.
I'm taking her to the vet in the morning.

Could be many things, so I will not guess.
Cat will need a battery of tests and almost certainly a biopsy.

Since she is an indoor cat it limits the possibilities - would Kasper be able to puncture her skin at the location of the wounds?

Is she drinking okay?

Good luck to both of you for tomorrow - it is such a worry when they are ill.

I'm not looking at that link...I've already googled and scared myself.
Yes...caspar could reach the location...I just caught the bully attacking her. But sores do not look like usual wounds/scratches.
Could be a flea allergy, but you are doing the right thing by taking her to the vets, let us know how you get on xx

I am envious of people who live with cats that actually like each other. My two are the warring siblings from hell. Some mornings Frankie with greet his sister with a little nose-kiss and she will whack him with a huge, fully armed paw.

Good luck tomorrow

pasta, got me fingers and everything crossed hat your cat will be fine xx
lol Wolf, poor Frankie.

Steve once did the lie-on -the back routine and tickle me tummy.
Well I fell for that and the claws came out so I was standing there with this blooming cat draped from me arm.
A few months ago, he tried it again, but I was wiser and told him so :-D
Hope all goes well with Amber tomorrow. Such a worry for you.
