The only time I ever saw a raccoon, I was about 7 and visiting a chicken farm my brother was working at for the summer. They'd caught a raccoon and showed it to me. I doubt that poor raccoon lived long after I'd left...for farmers they are pests. I thought it was adorable...still do.

There are lots of raccoons in Stanley Park in Vancouver. They just sort of appear. They make you jump!.

I had 2 raccoons as pets. Had them from babies and they were such fun - they used to play with me and I could pick them up and cuddle them.
