Eggs
22 Answers
A few questions regarding this photo, these eggs were found in a hole in a field near my house. They are completely white and about one and a half inch long.
1 Do you think these eggs were laid where found? 2 Did they hatch or were they eaten by something from above? 3 Any idea what laid the eggs?

Then we can almost be certain it is either a wood pigeon or a collared dove egg

Spider, here is some advice from Buenchico about a simple way to upload a photo.
Upload your picture here:
http:// upl.co/
Simply click the green button, navigate to the location of your image file and double click on it.
When you see a thumbnail of your picture, click on it to enlarge it. Then click on the enlargement, to make your picture fill a web page.
Copy the URL of that page and paste it into a post here.

There is no water nearby, they’re pretty fresh and larger and different colour to blackbird’s eggs. I’m inclined to agree with tamborine maybe doves or pigeons and yes possibly a hatching. Bit mistified as to how they got there didn’t look like they were dropped. Believe me definitely not campers no one in there right mind would camp on that field.
