Butter flies seem more plentiful (in my garden at least) during this resent hot sunny spell.
Hopefully we might see an upsurge in some species that have been in decline in recent rears.
Already, this morning I've seen several orange tips, red admiral ans tortoise shell.

I tell you what, I was sitting out there with my good neighbor, enjoying a couple of beers, whilst shooting the breeze and we were mesmerized by the amount of butterflies that were coming in.
Mostly peacocks and commas, often several in a cluster that would spiral up into the tree tops, sheer joy!
