Not so much now but usually used as second name.
Maybe, but not as often as they used to i would think.

Lots of names are like that now eg. Kenneth.
I don't think anyone calls their baby Margaret any more either. Out of fashion I'm afraid!!
Some people seem to look for weird names, now. How about Starlight Buttercup?

Names come and names go. Nowadays anyone called, Agnes, Edith, Enid, Gertrude, Shirley, Albert, Horace are likely to be pensioners.
My dad's middle name is Horace. He hates it.

Rupert doesn't seem too popular any more either.
