3Mm Bugs Driving Me Daft

Currently inundated with these tiny bugs, they look like a bit of black cotton , as fast as I vacuum them, or wipe them away - they are back. It's been 3 or 4 days of it now.
Can anyone suggest anything I can wipe round my window and door frames to dissuade them from coming in?

Thank you Murraymints, I am coping ok with the odd weepy moments.
As of 4 weeks ago, I now have my youngest living with me, he just wasn't coping with living on his own. (Autism and OCD) Life can be a bit awkward, but, I can't not help him. so just different set of stresses I suppose x

They look like a bit of black cotton, you say?
Sounds like it could be thrips or thunderbugs.
Try smearing some tea tree oil around the window frames.
