If I hide it in his food, he must smell it and wont touch the food, crushing it to powder or cutting it in half made no difference. Trying to put it into his mouth resulted in a bit finger for me, and a traumatised cat who left home for 24 hours! (Oh, and he spat the tablet out onto the floor!).

I did the same as RR's suggestion when I had a difficult cat, hid it inside cooked chicken piece and put that in some naughty place, on the worktop or kitchen floor well away from usual feeding station. Those soft long thin sausage treats were quite good too - their name has gone out of my brain but you know what I mean.
Lol prudie works every time - Brice is a devil so I hide it in the chicken and then say to him 'that's not yours'!! within 20 seconds of me leaving the room the little *** has stolen it!!
