Second Update On My Cat With Suspected Brain Haemorrhage.

For those interested, Bobbie didn't have his x-ray last week as he wasn't well enough to take the anaesthetic. He had it today instead and VD has been ruled out and a Stroke confirmed. There is no treatment except he is having steroid injections as he won't take his pills. The vet agrees with me he seems a happy boy, not in pain, (he was nudging the vet to stroke him), so as long as he stays that way we will continue to give him any support he needs. If things change then a different decision may have to be made but at the moment we are all happy. All except the dog who couldn't care less.

He was loving to the end, but we had to accept that it was his time. He is still here, buried in the sunniest part of the garden with a Forget-me-not flourishing round his little memorial. x
Thank you Wolf, Pasta, Ann, LiK and seekeerz.
My sweet loving Bobbie was euthanised an hour ago. Purring till the end. He so deserved longer than 4 years.
The support I've had from AB members has been a great comfort, knowing you are all animal lovers on this thread and understand how I have been trying to deal with this dilemma. Thank you all so much. Have a big hug from me. xxxxxxxx

Let me come in when you are weeping friend,
I who have known a sorrow such as yours,
can understand.
Let me come in - I would be very still
beside you in your grief.
I would not bid you cease your weeping friend,
tears can bring relief.
Let me come in - I would only breathe a prayer,
and hold your hand.
For I have known a sorrow such as yours,
And understand.
Thinking of you and dear little Bobbie lb xx
