is it true that dogs can drink WD40 (e.g if you had no water in your car but did have WD40) ?!

No it's utter rubbish, WD40 will like most petroleum rlated products be toxic
When I was a kid, my dad sprayed WD-40 on my hamsters squeakey wheel.

He died a short time after. (the hamster, not my dad).

Sorry but I think you would have to be a bit dim to believe that.

Whilst on the subject, not it is getting cold be very careful with antifreeze, animals are attracted to it because of the smell and sweet taste and it is very dangerous.
I can't believe people this stupid are allowed out on their own! Poor dog ...!

Sorry, but it's really frightening sometimes what level of myth people will consider potentially true! And to think what damage and problems these myths then cause - all I can do is congratulate brookek on asking before (s)he tried it :-)
I have to agree with eels ,would you try and drink wd40 ,somebody needs there head looking at.
