I remember you saying you were scared of them - I love them. Hoping to have as many visit this year as last year (think one visited last night as their water is dirty (they put their feet in it) and a piece of their food is outside of their feeding station.
Thank you Buenchico, last year I had two different gangs visit from different ends of the garden - one night there were so many that they were running over my feet.
There used to be quite a lot around here. (I remember on one occasion finding my cat, a magpie and a hedgehog all happily eating from the same bowl of cat food together on my doorstep). Alas, though, I can't recall having seen any locally for more than a decade now :(
