Hedgehogs

Why should anyone protect a species? Personally I think animals dumb enough to be threatened *deserve* to die. Nature has winners and losers, and I've no time for losers!!!!!

I am not scared of them, have left hedgie gaps in the fences and so on but I don't really want to encourage them to live in my garden as the ones I have seen around me are full of ticks....not just one or two but dozens

Sure I'll sign up to help them. I'm surprised they aren't protected already.
Hopefully they can start by replacing the miles and miles of hedgerows that have been ripped out.
