For me...and a rescue hound.
I'll be meeting my next new hound on Saturday. I just couldn't wait, but I thought it would take a few months to find a match.
He's a five year old, ex racer who broke his leg. I'm hoping my home will be his forever home.

Wonderful news, pasta :)

Are you interested in finding his actual racing name? If so, he can be identified by his ear tattoo as all racing greyhounds must be registered by this method.

I was speaking to a dear friend tonight who has recently lost her smooth lurcher aged 12. She also has an ex racer who is missing his old companion, so she has contacted the Greyhound charity and is looking for a gentle lady to re-home. Happy days.

So delighted you have arranged this for a lovely ex racer. I am sure you will both have a loving and trusting relationship. Well done x
When he arrives, you will call him by all kinds of endearments, and gradually, a name will suddenly feel right, and there you are, job done.
Theland, you are so right.
