Doggie Landing Is Scheduled...

I just spoke to the behaviourist who is bringing him down...she speaks of him with so much affection.

I took on an ex coursing greyhound who was taken to the vets to be put down as every time they let him off he did a runner and took ages to be caught. It took me three weeks to even get a lead on him without him wetting himself - after a fair bit of work the end result was a show dog handled by a six year old child winning some top places at local and national shows. They are such sensitive souls and the slightest thing can set them back but please don't give up on him, even a well adjusted dog going into a new home can take months to fully adjust to a new situation and routine.

Annette Crosbie rehomed many greyhounds. They are supposed to be a beautiful natured dog. Pasta you will be rewarded.

I'll have to Google Annette Crosbie, jj...I didn't know that.
My girl Sally was a large whippet x...probably with greyhound. She was a sweet tempered, lady like dog. Very loving. They are underrated dogs.

My rescue dog was a thug (I loved him) and decided to terrorise a dog in the park one day. He got frustrated chasing this three legged greyhound, it was going at some speed. Robbie didn't stand a chance, I am sure the greyhound was laughing at him.

Dogs are so different from cats.

awww, I love pooch stories, especially the ones which make you smile and or laugh.
Our pooch was a sort of lurcher/whippet cross. Poor lass had had several homes before she came to us. Nerves were in shreds.
I know this is viewed with rose-tinted specs, but I'm convinced it wasn't long before she slept anywhere she wanted.
New name was Lucy (previous name was Susie)

She is a campaigner for greyhound welfare.[5] Since 2003, she has been President of the League Against Cruel Sports.[6
