Dog droppings....
I was playing Rugby on Saturday when the referee, during a stoppage noticed a doggy land mine on the pitch and demanded it's removeal before we could continue. Luckily it was an away game so the opposition physio had to come on and clear it up, yuck. Anyway there where plenty of dog poo bins about but still dog owners let them do it anywhere and just leave it. Why do some dog owners think it's alright to let there dogs crap indescriminately? now I know a lot of people clear it up, I just wonderered if the dog owning fraternity could put their own house in order here? I mean if you are walking your dog and you see someone else not clearing up their mess do you challenge them? Anyone know of any prosecutions? I'm not a dog owner by the way.

Having said that I have seen girls change their babys in the park and throw the dirty nappy under the bench rather than walk a couple of feet to a bin.
Yes, sickening isn't it? I'm fed up with mowing my front verge, getting a lawn mower bin full of dog poo and then getting it all over my hands when I empty the bin into the compost heap. I am now a Grumpy Old Woman - whenever I see somebody allowing their dog to poo in public without picking it up, I ask them politely to pick it up or tell them I'll follow them home to find out where they live and ask the Council to prosecute them.
A former acquaintance s of mine got fed up with a neighbour's dog pooing on his doorstep in a London mews that he picked it up, put it in a paper bag and dropped iton the neighbour's doorstep. When he heard the neighbour coming to the door he set fire to the paper bag. The neighbour stamped the fire out, got poo all over his shoes and his hall carpet, and such a feud ensued that they ended up never speaking to each other again.
I'm not a dog owner but will remember to carry a spare bag with me in future to hand to dog owners I catch in the act.
I feel guilty when it goes in public, even though I always pick it up. The dog just looks at me as if to say, 'what do you want me to do, suck it back in?'
Handy hint - Those special scented bags make lovely hand warmers once full, on those cold winter days. And they make you smell all artificially floral.
