Thanks guys. Yes they're looking after her very well but agree with Margie it would be wonderful to bring another elephant to be with her, never mind transporting her somewhere else especially with her bad arthritis.

I agree I care more for animals than most people. I don't know how anyone can not like elephants. Such beautiful animals. Only monsters are cruel to them !

They certainly are Gill. Seeing them interact with each other tugs at my heart strings especially when one of them has died or when they are all looking out for the baby in the pack. Then there's the overwhelming rage I feel when I see a carcass, mutilated, devoid of its tusks, on my television screen.
