Many on here often asked after ASBO, my naughty ginger cat.

He was hit on the road today and died in my arms. He was 16.

My heart is broken.

Bless you barmaid. You loved ASBO unconditionally for years. I have lost a cat years ago under similar circumstances. You never forget. Better to have loved etc.

I'm so sorry to read about poor ASBO. (I remember how I felt when my beloved Biscuit was killed by a car nearly two years ago).

At least he had a long (and no doubt lovely) life as your friend though.

Sorry to hear this, BM - any loss of a pet is bad, but a sudden death is the absolute worst.

Oh Barmaid how sad, I'm so sorry, it's heartbreaking I know. My Dennis was killed on the road outside my cottage and the driver never even stopped so I know how you feel. Try and comfort yourself that he had a wonderful life with you and you were there at the end for him. Thank you for taking such good care of him, many don't get that. xx

ASBO was rude, stroppy, arrogant, insolent, manipulate, communicative, disdainful, strong, fearless, fussy, demanding, unpleasant when smacked off his **** on catnip, funny, daft, loving, loyal and affectionate. (And all of that normally before 8am). The squirrel, stoat and weasel population will sleep sounder tonight. And at least I know where my naughty boy is now. He was a bloody awesome cat and much loved part of our little family.

I can't believe this morning's cuddle sessions (well hero worship) were my last with him. The last picture I have of him was yesterday. REFUSING to look at the camera. Lol
