Why did you give them to him? Does he have evidence of worms? I only worm my dogs if they have evidence of them, and haven't actually wormed a dog for quite a few years now. You can do a worm count to check if you are not sure.
well i never gave him de-worming tablets for years too and felt I should have but now having to sign for him to go to Dog's Trust after I die - that was one of the questions - so did it for that reason.
I had also to get a Dog Guardian that upon my demise this Guardian has permission to sign Maxie over.
Re treating animals . My dogs get profilactate treatment for Heartworm and Leishmaniosis as both are endemic here. They also get regular flea and tick treatment as do the cats. I prefer to treat to prevent the disease rather than treat the disease. All my current animals have been treated all their lives with no ill effects
Yes we do worm the children here. Some of the imported goods have obvious contamination. Grandson has had worms 3 times and the whole family is treated each time
