What Must I Do About My Cherimoya Plant?

My cherimoya plant does not look too good after moving from my home in san diego ca to my new one in georgetown texas. I did my research a little this plant can handle temps as low as 25. The lowest so far out here is 35. imgur.com/HzD0gWO

I note the observation that "Cherimoya trees are fairly adaptable when it comes to soil types, happy in sand or clay, although they prefer a rich and fertile soil with good drainage. They tend to develop a tap root, so sites with deep topsoil grow good cherimoyas but the trees do not thrive in containers".

So, if you're forced to keep the plant in a container, you ought to be trying to fool it into thinking that it's not in one by giving it far more space (including depth) than it's currently got.
