I put on a brave face, but to be honest I'm not a big fan of spiders, I had big house spiders, three days on the trot in the kitchen sink, one on the ceiling above my head as I watched TV, and one that ran under my foot as I neared the top.

Meanwhile a woodpigeon has just hatched a brood in the tree just behind my garden.

They can stay in my flat and make themselves comfortable.  They go off into some corner and I have no idea where they are so don't bother me.

But Mozzies, they DO bother me.
