For a flock of llamas, I should think you would need the same number of llamas as you would need sheep for a flock of sheep. That's the easy one.

Now for the difficult one: How many llamas you would need for an army would depend on how big the army was and for how long you would need to feed the men. Oh, and whether the men would be happy eating llama, of course.
