We once bought him a toy that he pulled apart so much it had to go straight in the bin. Half an hour later we heard him in the kitchen, and he'd somehow pulled the bin over to get his toy!

For my GSD,The ropes for chewing she had one of those until her jaw got to strong and she was chewing it in 2, she had one for house fun and the other soaked in water and frozen for her teething faze for in the kitchen on the linoleum.
My GSD destroys any stuffed toy within 1 minute, so none of those go to her, she gets a Balls for play, frisbees also, nylabone, Edible Nylabones, bully sticks, Ice, and kongs filled with different things and I freeze it to make her work harder to get the stuff out, I don't give her human type peanut butter, I use the stuffing made by Kong.
Any thing new you give your dog to chew on please supervise the first time to see how they deal with it.
