What worries me is that he is getting a bit too clingy and beginning to be disruptive when I'm not there - there are times when I have to go away and don't want him causing problems for my housemate when I'm not there. I was simply asking if anyone knew of a way I could stop him from acting up when I'm not there.
kovac thanks for the sensible advice. There are always plenty of my things lying around and he always has access to my bedroom where he can go on the bed (that's where he sleeps anyway). My housemate is pretty assertive with him and hopefully he will learn that shouting and being a nuisance isn't going to get him anywhere!
