yeah i know should have had my weelies on but you know what its like nip outside for something and start fiddling about and get carried away wasnt till my feet started getting damp that i realised how long i had been out there in my slippers ! never mind it was a good afternoon glad it made you smile

oooh you sound just like me but don't tell anyone about the slippers - I like everyone to think I'm a trendy old biddy!
Yes it's such a relief to potter about without 4 layers of clothes, although it hasn't been very sunny here today it was mild - there's been a lot of sleepy bees about & charlie spaniel's had a great time snapping at them - mind you I have to smother myself in bug repellant 'cos I'm allergic to bites.

Hope we have lots more of this mild weather now.... looking forward to the cherry blossom & swallows arriving. :o)

Its been loveley, and dont worry I walk around the garden in my slippers, go shopping in them to
Nothing like a bit of spring sunshine to lift the spirits in our own little havens. My dog likes to help out in the garden too, usually digging out stuff I'd just planted but I cant be mad at him for long, as his big amber eyes could melt a heart of stone. I usually wear more skins than an onion, and only today I've just put my long-johns away for the winter; talking of onions, I can almost hear the sizzle of kebabs and the whiff of charcoal from my barbie. Happy days!!

Yes, wasn't it lovely to escape to the garden in the sunshine? But don't throw away the thermals yet. Bank Holiday Monday is apparently going to be Wet and Windy. (So what's different - don't Bank Holidays always turn out to be like that anyway ??)
