Corn Snake
1 Answers
I have had two corn snakes since december 05 and both have been fine and healthy until today, unfortunately one has died. They are still very young (only around 30cm long) and cant find any reasons why it has died apart from one I am unsure of. The last time we fed them a couple of days ago, I noticed 1 pinky didn't really seem 'fresh'. It was all shrivelled up and a whitish colour. The snake that is still fine however had a pinky which was as normal. These pinkies were bought from a different pet shop than we normally get them from and just wondered if the pinky may have had anything to do with the death of the snake?

The correct way is to put them in2 very luke warm water for literally about 5-10mins then fed it to them straight away. ive got corns and my newest one is an okeetee so shes only 2 months older than yours, i find the best way to feed is with sugar tongs to hold the pinkie (sugar tongs provide the right amount of distance between her and your fingers) and wiggle the pinkie infront of her and it will strike and eat it straight away so theres no chance of it not being eaten and bacteria starting to grow on it. I hope this helps you.
