Sick Dog

Over a period of about 2 weeks now my dog keeps being sick, nearly everyday but we havn't taken him to the vet yet as he is his normal self (apart from being sick) he's eating his food as usual, drinking lots of water, loving his walks as always...But lately he has been being sick sometimes twice a day, i don't know if its the hot weather or if there's something else wrong with him...I just wondered if anyone might know the reason he is doing this.

I'd try no food for 24 hours then something easily digestible like chicken or fish and rice, scrambled eggs for a day or two. If he's still being sick see a vet.

Please don't rely on guesswork. If you love your dog, take him o the vet and get him properly checked out. You might regret it if there is something seriously wrong with him.

Years ago my dog was exactly the same - well in herself but vomiting every day.

X rays showed she had swallowed two balls that were lodged inside, meaning there was very little room for food.

Quickly sorted, but could have been fatal.

when he goes out watch what he is eating,our Alsatian went through stages of being sick, if he is eating any grass he is eating it to make himself sick, the vet told us she was ok, but if you aren't sure with your dog,pop him in for a quick check up, good luck, Ray

Two weeks? I can't believe you have not taken him to the vet in two weeks. OK give him a couple of days maybe, but really, two weeks? This could have been something really minor, that might have turned into something major.

Sorry to be blunt but he needs to be seen by a vet asap.

I also cannot believe you have not taken the dog you love to a vet already and left it this long - irresponsible, it sounds like a blockage to me too, there is no point in the dog drinking as it is only going to bring it back up and in this hot weather will lead to major dehydration, get to a vets NOW, please....if your dog has not passed a motion in that long then it is definitely a blockage...get it checked out immediately do not wait a moment longer!!!!!

If has been sick every day for 2 weeks, then he is far from normal. You need to get a vet to take a look encase he has swallowed something.

the reason i aint takin my dog 2 the vets is coz im 12 years old, i have recently moved to live with my nan and rely on my 9 year old sister to tell me what is going on bac home...ok
