Goldfish

Hi, we have two fantail goldfish (I think thats what they are called) and for some reason one of them just keeps sitting on the gravel right in the corner of the tank. He barely responds if we lightly tap the tank. Does anyone know what the cause could be? Thanks in advance.

How old are your fish?
Do you have a filter in there?
Have you tried adding an air-stone in?
What happens when you drop a bit of food in?
doe your water need changing?

Hi, the fish are only about 6 months old, yes there is a filter and we have recently changed water about 3 days ago. Im not sure what happens when he is fed, I will have to keep a check on him

I don't really know alot about goldfish, despite having two of my own! I'm more of a tropical fish type of gal.....however I have a look on this forum from time to time, might be something of use to you on it. Good luck.
