Tropical fish

I have a trop[ical fish tank but am quite bored with teh fish that I have. Does anyone have any suggestions of some interesting fish that I could get?

Incidently- your platys? What gender are they? Need to be careful if you've got both male and female as they'll breed like the clappers too.

Hi again.... for something really different, try a flower horn, unfortunately they eat most other fish [mind you, that would take care of the boring ones....lol[joke]]. I had one for years, a huge and magnificant beast, they are beautifully coloured [if you look after them well]....actually thinking about it they eat anything smaller than theselves and can be by nature quite carniverous although they are actually part of the chiclid[spelt that wrong] family. We had him in a four foot tank all by himself and I would never put my hand in the tank, although I did with Banana, the black piranah[13'' long!!!], Wanda[the flower horn] always looked at me funny...lol
