My girlfriend bought a rabbit even though I didn't want a pet in my house. Why did she have to be so cute? She's eating all my house plants though, which I spent a long time cultivating, so what do I do? They're mostly large pot plants which sit on the floor, so it's not practical to move them or raise them up, so how do I stop the the little cute monster from eating my lovely decorations?

Hi, have you tried Googling for poisonous house plants for rabbits, because I just had a quick look for you and it says that ALL houseplants are poison to bunnies!!!!! I would suggest going to the garden center and buying some form of wire mesh to put around the roots and then tying up any over-hanging leaves. Otherwise cute bunny could become a sick bunny....or a dead bunny!!!!
Hope this helps.

Well, that's part of the problem. They're all big plants in big pots, so what am I meant to do? I can't prop them up on stilts or sit them on chairs. I didn't design my house with rabbits in mind!
wouldnt bunny be happier in the garden with grass and dandelions to eat, i rescued 2 house rabbits, they come in occasionally for a look around but are much happier out.
