I have a new puppy, he's very good and only eliminates when I take him out afyer food and before bed, but still uses his training pad in the house for a pee. At what age should he be able to control his bladder? I make all the right noises when he goes outside and he's very good and does not pee anywhere but his pad. He's 14 weeks old.

thanks

Hi, basically it is dependent on the puppy, at 14 weeks he is still very young and sounds like he's doing brilliantly....Give yourself a big pat on the back :o] . I have had dogs that hose train in weeks....and a five yr old Yorkie that still has a sneaky wee by the back door given the chance!!! Around 6 months is a good average.... so just keep up what you're doing, praise the good...ignore the mistakes.

Good luck
