Can any of you Westie lovers out there tell me how to get rid of tear staines,

tear stains can be due to an overgrowth of bacteria and yeast, and you could try a teaspoon of white vinegar added to her drinking water which will change the ph balance and stop the yeast and bacteria from growing. However, there are lots of products sold to remove the yellowing, but I dont believe they work very well - I am not suggesting you try this, some of the professional dog groomers use a peroxide mixture to actually dye the hair - think that is a bit drastic myself. Have you tried wiping round her eye area daily with a damp cotton wool pad?
There is a product called Angel Eyes which has been recommended on here before. Google to find a supplier online.
