We just got a fairly new love seat from a friend, and after having it for a
few weeks, one of my cats decides he wants to pee on it. And it seems that
no matter what I use, I can't get rid of the smell, so of course, he does
it again. I want to put some Scotch Guard on it, but I need to get rid of
the odor first. Any ideas? I'm desperate.

Yes get a product called Urine Off...just google it and buy online...bit on the dear side but it works...clean area throughly first tho'....I have the same problem with one of my cats but he does it all over the place...can't keep up with him lol lol
I also use Urine Off, I can guarantee it definately works. It gets rid of the nasty smell immediately, it should also remove stains. If you google it as the above answer states, you can buy it online.

hi shania,

i've tried both 'simple solution' from pets at home and 'urine off ' (aka petfresh) - although the urine off is more expensive, it far out-performs the simple solution. 'urine off 'is to way to go if you have a stubborn smell on the seat. you get what you pay for with these products.

good luck!
