We have a wasp's nest in the brickwork above one of our windows, it has been there for about 3 weeks, thats when i started to notice them anyway. Do we block the hole or put some kind of poison in it..? or both? obviously we dont know how big it is but it needs to be got rid of! all suggestions gratefully received (I leave myself open to all sorts by saying that!!!) TIA x

call your local council and speak to pest control.

They charge about 28 and will come and kill the wasps off for you.
Have you found the wasps nest katie73? I had a wasp invasion and found the nest in my attic. It was almost the size of a football so I called in the pest control. I found another nest in my garage lately but I managed to get rid of that myself but dont you try it.
Get some wasp killer powder from your local hardware shop and follow the instructions.
Usually this involves puffing the powder generously into and around the entrance of the hole during the evening, when most wasps will be at home. Others arriving late will walk through it and carry more into the nest.
One application should be be enough. It's simple, and it'll cost less than a Council call-out!
