My Cat
5 Answers
I have a 6 mth old black cat. I feed her, pat her, talk to her, try to play with her, but she doesn't want anything to do with me. She only likes my male flatmate. She can't get enough of him. She sleeps with him and if his bedroom door is closed she waits outside it. She sits on his knee and purrs and dribbles, but not with me. I do have 2 other cats, one female and the other male, they are about 10-12 years old. THEY love me! I give them all the same amout of attention. Can anyone let me know why the black cat won't have anything to do with me? Surely I'm the juicey oyster as I feed her etc?

I think it is to do with the fact my girlfriend constantly wants to play with the cat, pick it up and make it do stuff. The cat seems to get fed up and prefers to sit with me where it doesn't get bothered. Also is the 6 month old cat friends with the 2 older cats? If not, it might not like you because it sees you with the other cats.
