Dogs Urine
6 Answers
Hi
Does anyone know anything about nutralising dogs wee wee,
I have the most adorable Westie, but my lawn have got brown patches all over it,
Someone said you can buy rocks to put in their drinking water,
Can you throw any light on the subject, or anything that might help.
Thanks

You could also try tomato sauce which is supposed to neutralise the ammonia in the dogs urine
We used to keep taking out the brown patches and re seeding, but a never ending job in a large lawn. We opted to remove all the lawn and lay slabs but kept our lovely borders and trees. Much cleaner in the winter, as our lawn resembled a speed way track!!

My dogs are trained to go in 1 particular area of the garden, I have left the grass to grow wild there, I don't like the thought of adding anything to food or water, at the end of the day we choose to have dogs so we have to put up with 'inconveniences' associated with dog ownership. Anything put into food and water must have chemicals of some kind in them, so not what I would want to do.
