Digging in the Garden

Sorrry 2 questions off the trot here but same little terrier. We have recently moved house and he has started digging holes in the garden randomly, we also have a lurcher who is not doing this so why is the terrier Any Suggestions??

Moving house even for an animal is very stressfull and digging relieves stress, is the dog left on his own for long periods!. Any attention is better than no attention so when you scold him it is attention, dont give any attention
and it may stop. This may sound strange but it is something i did with one of my dogs with the same habbit although she use to dig in the same places, i put some of her poop in the hole then bueried its he soon stopped good luck

Hi cris r, the dog in question here lives with his best mate our lurcher they are not ever separated so hopefully should not get bored, they did not have a garden before so I wondered if that could be it, as for being left alone when they are its together and they have a 12ft kennel and run to the side of the house that we only use if we are not at home which isnt often as my hubbie works shifts. They apart from this have the run of the garden or cosy up with us, the previous house ownders left it so its just useful. Some folk have suggested we may get rabbits crossing the garden at night etc as we live in the village and have seen droppings when we first moved in. I gotta admit its weirs only one dog and not the other (will try the poop burying lark tho lol)
