my dog max cost me �40 at the rescue, what a bargain, he has only eaten 10lbs of bacon, 8 packs of sausages, 3 tubs of marg, 14 loose potatoes and the odd tub of fish food in the last 10 years since we 'rescued him' lol!!!

Animal lovers are fab! I couldn't agree more, garner. And it's not just the financial expenditure people don't consider, it's the time, effort, patience, good citizenship etc. that owning a pet involves.
