Another nuisance tom Q
8 Answers
A tom keeps coming into my house and spraying everywhere. It stinks of ammonia and I have to go searching for it to clean it. I have tried every catflap going:- magnetic, laser etc, but they either break or the collar device breaks so I've given up.
Can a tom still spray after neutering? If so does it still smell nasty?

If you think he maybe a pet you could try putting a collar on with a message to his 'owners'. You could try informing them of the damage he is doing & offer help with getting him neutered. PDSA or Cats Protection will help.
If you know he's feral the cats protection should be very helpful about capture, neutering & re-homing. They, like me, believe that entire tom cats are contributing to the over population of unwanted/stray cats & at risk of catching and spreading (to domestic population too!) STDs or becoming a road casualty/fatality because they have the urge to roam. If you have had personal experience of how devastating cat flu or feline leukemia virus can be you will understand. Even 'feral' cats deserve a safe place to live, regular food & basic healthcare. Good luck.

Thank you Showcatbenga. I don't think it is a feral cat, but it never stays in long enough for me to catch it. As soon as it hears me coming it shoots off.
I haven't had experience with cat flu or leukemia but I have had with kidney failure. That is just as devastating. My 2 get their boosters every year so I try to protect them from illnesses as much as I can. I got them from Battersea Dog & Cats Home several years ago and they had already been neutered.
