(Ignore my post below this one, it's the same clip but I forgot to ask:)

The footage and photos looks like the sixties. Does anyone remember the story of this reunion

Thanks shaney it's very similar but not that one, the wooden wing chair is on opposite side of fireplace and it's more of a peasant home, cosy but not luxorious. Just got my xword so am off to relax!
Anyone home? Ah yes there's Neti doing her crossword puzzle in front of the fireplace, that's a cozy sight. Glad you found your piccy Neti, I did look but hadn't saved it. Christmas... such fun for the little ones...

*bangs on Robinia's lid* Robinia!! You don't have to buy that wake-up light you've been mentioning, I've found the perfect light therapy for you - it's a stick lamp! As a matter of fact I want him myself, it'sjust that it may be a bit impractical in my not-enough-room-to-swing-anything-really case that he has to lean against the wall - I want to be able to move my floor lamp about. But will I be able to resist him, I'm not sure. PS Robi that hair straightened lion was cute!

Has our Vinny decided to stay in Cambridge and take the beer/bar exam? ...nooo don't shoot me, I know it's a tired joke but it's still funny he he he... Well Vinny if you had been here I would have rapped in Swedish for you it being Saturday and everything. Just so you know what you're missing... (she's 93!) The lyrics is from an extremely corny 1930's song, Greta's take on it is way superior.

I should go clean the fridge or something. How often should you do that? No don't answer, I don't wanna know.
Erm, Neti, how can I break it to you... as I was looking for henrypiccies earlier tonight to do the above montage I came across some photo evidence... yes I know it's Henry and not George but admit it, they're all the same... what I'm trying to say here Neti is: you cannot live in denial anymore...!
good morning...I've flown in for some heat & sunlight therapy, I'm sinking into a slough of despond in dreary, damp Derbyshire.

Sweedie!!! are you trying to get us thrown into the dungeon? tut, tut...go & stand in the corner with your stick lamp. And I don't have a lid unfortunately, if I put all this lot on my lap I'd be in traction for 3 months. (I'd really like a laptop though)

And neti, that's not exactly an armchair is it? Tis a settle where I come from so if you're going to send us on a wild wallpaper chase please get the instructions right.

Well that's those two sorted, who else needs a thwacking? Jude hasn't been over here yet I see

she must be otherwise occupied

oh golly, a tradition Ibiza Christmas, looks wonderful. Not cannabis growing on the mantel, is it?

tsk, Kit, there's a lol of it about. The Telegraph has provided a lot of handy links for further exploration on the following page, I see. Bike. Fence. Lamp-post.

and he's got celebrity support too...

Voluptua must have been out at the time.
Pass the smelling salts please, we seem to have an unconscious Seora over here. Good job jno, now we know why Henry's always smiling. It's like them grinning dolphins, everyone thinks they're so spiritual but they're regular perverts they are. Tut tut wot wot Robinia, shall I be my hoover's keeper!

Sure hope there is such a pleasant explanation for Jude's absence as suggested above but I fear the worst. We know her son's cat Polly doesn't like her. We know Jude's been missing for many a day - you do the math ;-)
Afternnon All just got round to catching up with all your posts. And what a lot there was. Having read Kit's I'm surprised we're still on.
I can assure you that Mr. T doesn't keep me as occupied as you may think. In fact he's turning into a bit of a bore. What am I like?!! I think I've been on my own too long.So anyway, I don't see him as much as I used to I'm pleased to say. (Thinking about it, it my just be me)

Neti I do hope your sister is getting through her treatment alright. It's difficult to know what to say except that I've been thinking about you and her. I have 2 lovely sisters and the eldest had a scare a few years ago after a mammogram. Very worrying.

Went to see Oliver last night in Nottingham. Quite enjoyable but it needed just a little bit more oomph! It was Nottingham Operatic Society that put it on.

Going to my sister's tomorrow to have lunch with her and Our oldest female relative is coming over to see us. She wont tell us how old she is but it's definitely her eighties. She still drives herself about and even drove down to the Farm we visit in Buckinghamshire. Very energetic type.

Well I'm off now do some cheese on toast. Hope you've all had a good weekend and looking forward to a bit of telly tonight. On Antiques Roadshow they say they have found the first item to be worth more than a 1000,000.

Bye for now see yer later 'gater(s) xx.

But... how's he gonna carry a tune without you?! Sorry, bad one again... Jude I'm a bit sad to hear your tea party seems to be drawing to a close... but if that's the way it is then that's the way it is. Oh well, plenty of... erm... teabags in the teapot, I guess. Jude I couldn't help but smile when you described your relative as the "very energetic type" - must be something in the genes!

did y'all see this? (over at Arts)

Mamma Mia tomorrow!

morning all - never rains but it pours, the council are after our front bit of land to make into a park (yet again) went through all this in 91 and managed to stop it, but now it's happening all again, why my little parcel of land, it's hardly big enough to swing a lorry in! Any have asked the local neighbour to accompany me to the Town Hall to get it sorted. It'll mean heavy costs and lawyers all for nothing - I am totally fed up!!

Hope you are all well, forgive me for taking off!
morning all...bit of a grumpy day here, very grey and DH has his one millionth bug...stomach this time. Puppy number one ran off yesterday and across a road in the forest before we could catch him, all safe now you can guess how much that helped DH's tum...going to shower, back later
Chins up all and in the meantime

thanks for the picture, have justs et it as my desktop wallpaper...lovely and relaxing. Some silly person complained to us today because our dogs went over to say hello to her dog...granted they stuck their noses where they shouldn't have but she(dog not owner) told them off and they came haring back to us...then she(owner not dog) said we should muzzle our boys..
Lol Woofie you get some crazies .I remember having Shaney out on the lead (pre castration) and some daft woman had a bitch off the lead and let her run around him and torment him.Of course he was going bananas .Then she had the cheek to tell me keep him away because her dog was in season .

Hope you folks are all well ..glad you found your piccie Neti ..Telegraph was quite easy this week .

What a let down on Antiques Road Show . I thought an "antique " had to be at least fifty to a hundred years old ...bit like me . I feel like an antique in this damp and dank .I think I need a polish with some Brasso ..off to watch UC and that nice Indian girl who cooks lovely food
Toodlepip for now
Where's Vinny by the way ..has he fallen off a punt into the Backs or something ....
(peers around) its very quiet here today innit "coooeeeeee" (no response only the distant cry of a peckish vulture...do vultures cry??) oh well....wanders off.

leaves message. Shaney i am so glad things like that happen to other people...not that I want them to meet crazies but you know waht I mean. The lads are only a year old and we don't want them to get the idea that they get restrained and told off everytime there is another dog around...we are very careful around children, the elderly and small or frail dogs ....just wish other fools would think a bit....rant over, wanders off again
Don't dogs have to be muzzled in public by law, they do here, well that is to say they should but they don't!!
good morning, sunny & mild(ish) here but apparently it's the lull before the snowstorm at the end of the week!!

well, that's the last time I send a birthday card with fluffy bobbles on, luckily I asked before I posted it at the PO counter & I had to pay extra postage.... tut....And how to make someone you know fairly well, who's stopped to talk to you, disappear? Tell them you've just lost a close relative.....> > > > rat > > > drainpipe> > > >....tut again...whatsamatter wi folks?! On the other hand, undeterred, I did tell another lady (who I really don't know that well) & she was just lovely & chatted to me for quite a while. Hey ho, you find out who your friends are don't ya?

Charlie says what's all this muzzling malarkey? He hasn't got a snozzle to muzzle...besides he's far too busy to be out causing bovva

I'll expect 3 bonus biscuits for this

Charlie's a real cutie! No dogs don't have to be muzzled in public here unless they are one of the proscribed breeds or have been up to no good and the police have been involved.
I know what you mean about the rat/drainpipe thing, although my best mate and I have chatted about it quite openly...she knew Mum when she was well enough to travel and visit me here.....tell you what though, I post on another forum apart from this, its a craft one and both here and there people have been kind and supportive.
I've just thought....I must have been living near the King's road when Christian and his pals had the flat there, don't remember seeing him though. WE did see loads of famous people and years later there was the punk who had a pet rat that rode on his shoulder as well.
Afternoon. ♪ ♫ ♪ It's raining, it's pouring♪ ♪

My friend and her daughter took me out yesterday. First to a place called Hurry Curry and then to Mamma Mia. My friend's daughter collects tiaras and what's more she actually wears them. (Shaney are you listening) I had asked her jokingly the day before if she was gonna wear one to the movie - and she did! Imagine sitting at the movies and the person in the chair in front of you is wearing a tiara. Only in Sweden, kids, only in Sweden. (At least she's short.) Food was lovely and I liked the film, more or less. There was one thing about it I would have changed but I can't tell you as that would be a spoiler. Pierce Brosnan was very brave, he can't sing but he did and I admire him for it. The story is fairytale-simple, it's all about the music and the camera work I'd say. It's set in Greece and the colours are so vivid it really had me longing to go there. I noticed a lot of product plugging for Swedish design (textiles et cetera) but oddly it fit in very well on that Greek island. It is a biddy film - there were three guys in the theatre but they left... We caught the late show so there weren't many of us at all which was a bit of a shame, it's the kind of film you should see in a full house, really. The end is so funny... after the real story is over, there's a... no I won't tell. Anyways, if you like ABBA, see it, if you don't, stay away, there's nothing else there for you.

I want that poster, Woofy. Now. Oh Woofy you've lived in Christian's neighbourhood, that's fab! They probably weren't allowed to walk him, didn't it say in the YT clip Neti posted that he had his exercise in the something-something-vicar's-something...?

Charlie cute as ever with that paw so hesitantly raised, three bonus biscuits it is. You've got one of them bagless vacuum cleaners Robinia, are they any good i.e. do you like yours?
