Good news, Harvey the Hedgehog is alive and well. Saw him this morning at 4.30 ripping open the binbag mrwarpig couldn't fit in the bin!

He must have been on his hollyhogs.

Yes booldawg, and the Beeb are coming round tomorrow to do a short flim. Bill Oddie and Kate Humble are here at the moment.
I'm glad that the ecosystem has been restored to its natural equilibrium in your area. I could do with one in my garden to keep the slugs away from the greenhouse, the small pots of beer isnt working.
Question Author
You are supposed to put the pots of beer in the ground for the slugs, not drink them yourself booldawg!
Hey, they're invertebrates, I'm the one thats inebriate!
I have seen a documentary on TV where a hedgehog was wrapped in clay and baked on camp fire.

The spines come away when clay removed.

Only kidding but it is a Romany speciality.

Hope yours doesn't wander to far away from its sanctuary.

Cheers Doc, if food prices keep going the way they are, I may start looking at harvey in a different light.

Cheers, any sign of Yellowbeak?
That's great warpig !! :-))
No yellowbeak warpig3 - not for a few days now :o( Miss the silly old bird.

He has done this before in previous years - gone awol for a while but never this early - just keep looking out for him every morn. :o)

Ah warpig, great news all round! You must be pleased he had returned. I hope you told him how much he made you worry, and that he must never do it again! Maybe he has a hedgehog lover, as you suggested?

alfie, I hope yellowbeak returns ASAP.

xx
Thats such good news warpig, your mind will be at rest now.My family pass through our garden but we put out a tin of cat food every other day for them, it's the only way we get to study them for a short while we have mum and three little ones.Have never seen dad as yet [we assume it's the mum] who is with them, they give us much pleasure so I know how you must have felt.Very good news .g.
