I think they are gorgeous too, they seem to have much more character and personality than regular cats. They are quite expensive and if you get one, make sure it's from a reputable breeder.
Bear in mind too, Sphynx cats need alot of care. They have to be bathed on a weekly basis and have to remain in the house, as they have no fur to protect their skins and would also get quite cold.

Thanks Velvetee I am fascinated by them, and they are beautiful looking animals.
I know they would need ultra looked after, I wonder if because they have no fur, they would injure more easily? Probably, but henced the reason I would just keep it indoors. Mind you, I would be scared my cat would scratch it. With no fur, the injury would presumably be far worse than the average feline scratch....
Thanks!!

My cat just now, she rules the roost completely, is traated like a human, I am sure she thinks she is lol.
Joking aside, would hate to make her feel left out, she is a huge part of my life, and gets all the attention just now. The other cat will be far needier, so will weigh eveyrthing up and will let you know if we take the plunge into Sphinx land!!!

Rosetta, I am an absolutely HUGE animal lover and don't let anything past my cat, she gets everything she need/want, and when we go on holiday (for 2 weeks) twice a year, my mother anf father take it in turns to come round daily to feed and nurture my cat, and spend some time wtih her daily to save her going to the cattery. I would say she has an exceptionally good life, and we manage fine!
justmetoo - interesting, and thanks for the info!
Shame, they probably feel they want to attack them as they look different, and therefore feel threatened by the cat that looks different. I reckon anyway, only reason my puss would go for another cat normally is it feels threatened, and I guess the lack of hair doesn't help these poor wee craters.
I still like them, but am interested in finding out a bit more about them before we consider, and also would need to go see some in the flesh before I would be ultimately sure about buying.
Seems a shame they have to be isolated, I would hate nothing more than to have to isolate it to merely keep it away from being attacked, what a shame that'd be, and would probably kind of put me off getting one. Although I still love the look and said temperament of them.
Thansk again!
