this past couple of months my 14 year old dog keeps ripping up papers,carrier bags and spreading them all over the floor,he also whines a lot,anyone any idea what could be going on with him.

take him to the vet -he may be in pain.

think he's trying to tell you about nesting/puppies/bitches and sex....he sounds frustrated and canine lonely.

If he's eating well, there may not be too much wrong with him, but it'd be best to let a vet check him over. I also thought that perhaps he's bored, or needs more exercise.
