Bird Egg Identification

I found a bird egg in my back garden. I live in the east of scotland and the egg is about the same dimensions as a chocolate mini egg. it is not one though as it is very light and fragile. the egg is turquoise with a few blotches of lighter turquoise

It's likely to be a starling's egg. Though normally of a uniform colour, it would not be too unusual for there to be some lighter blotches present.
