I have just managed to breed 2 lots of guppies, they are in a keepnet or birth net and I just wondered how long they have to be before I can let them back into the big tank, I only have guppies, neon tetres and a plectostomus in here.

Many thanks for any answers.

Have yourself a shufty online at www.breeding-guppies.com there's loads of info on breeding these lovelies! I have just had my first batch of eggs (around 100) laid after 3 years, but still don't know what by LOL 1/2 have been eaten already ;-(( so have scraped some into a birthing net and hoping to find out who's the daddy so to speak. Congratulations and good luck!
Usually, guppies are out of danger from their parents after a week. However, to be on the safe side, i'd leave them for 2 weeks.

Your guppies should have babies every 30 odd days....why not add some plants....particularly floating plants and leave them in the main tank....it's survival of the fittest then and you won't get over run with guppies (they don't call guppies "the millions fish" for nothing !!!)

Good luck
