Rare Robin

Are there any birdwatchers in Scotland who have seen the rare bluethroat robin?  He looks as though someone's coloured him in with the wrong pen!  Very beautiful though.  Wonder if he'll ever appear on a Christmas card!

I've never seen one ,  but,  did see the picture on MSN.  Beautiful little bird,   I didn't know existed.

I expect the shopkeepers and hoteliers near this Reserve are clapping their hands in glee, noddy.

 Can you imagine the sight of  hundreds of twitchers lined up with telescopes at the ready - just  for this gorgeous little chap to show himself? 

 If I was him I think I would hide, and then go 'Boo!' ;-)

No,  but in a bar in Edinburgh I did encounter a girl I nicknamed Deep-throat Robin.
