One pair of mice will produce a litter of between 12 to 20 babies every 28-30 days. Mice are mature at about 6 weeks old and can live for up to 2 years!

 

So a quick calculation and the answer is?  Between 144 and 240 per year! That's alot of mices and that's just the original pair.

If you take into account the 'grandmices' and 'great grandmices' - many hundreds, but I ran out of fingers, sorry!
